Last week we had the privilege of presenting to a group of school business manager's from Christian schools throughout Perth on the topic 'Governing for Change'.
Participants were invited to discuss their understandings of what governance means, surfacing a variety of perspectives and highlighting the difficulties often associated with defining what has become very much a topical but yet contested issue.
Participants were taken through the development of thought in contemporary understandings of governance and introduced to the idea of 'community capitals' for achieving sustainable change in systems of local governance.
